Ultrasonic liquid level indicators
The Portalevel® MAX made by COLTRACO in the UK utilizes ultrasonic technology to measure the level of liquefied gases in firefighting cylinders. It produces accurate measurements for extinguishing agents such as CO2, FM-200™, NOVEC™ 1230, Halon 1301 & Halon 1211, FE13™, FE-25™, FE-36™, HFC 225 & HFC 2271.
Unlike the tedious and time-consuming method of weighing cylinders, ultrasonic measurement is easy, fast, reliable, and does not require more than one operator. The Portalevel® MAX is delivered in a convenient carrying case along with a sensor, ultrasonic gel, calibration certificate and infrared thermometer which is used to measure cylinder temperature. Optionally, a sensor extension rod can be included in the package to measure cylinders installed in up to three rows. The device can be operated for a continuous period of 10 hours and is waterproof to IP 65. The Portalevel® MAX has a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty and is certified to UL, ISO, RINA, ABS, CE, NATO (Stock Number: 6680-99-275- 529).
