When the operator has finished measuring the cylinder’s liquid level, they can calculate the weight of the extinguishing agent inside the cylinder by considering the cylinder thickness & diameter and the extinguishing agent’s specific gravity & temperature, a process which requires time-consuming mathematical operations for each cylinder.
The Portaseele® Calculator tablet by COLTRACO calculates the weight of the extinguishing agent (e.g. 45 kg of CO2) easily and quickly, by simply entering the measurements taken by the Portalevel® MAX. It can store data for multiple cylinders, eliminating the need of repeating the same calculations for similar cylinders. It also records the measurements into a CSV file, which can be easily downloaded to a computer and processed with software such as Microsoft Excel.
